REAP International Train the Trainer 2010

The REAP International Train the Trainer program is an intensive five-day session open to experienced instructors who meet the minimum requirements to become a CRS Certified REAP Instructor. This program is designed to introduce potential instructors to the systems and strategies presented in this course so the instructor may go back to his/her country and teach the course locally. Class size is limited to ensure a quality experience for attendees.

You must satisfy the following minimum requirements and must be sponsored by an established entity such as an association, real estate company or allied industry entity, educational foundation or university.
A. Must be fluent in English
B. Complete both CRS online courses:
C. Attendance and completion of REAP’s International Train the Trainer program
D. Instructor must be sponsored/recommended by an established entity such as an association, real estate company or allied industry entity, educational foundation or university

E. Must have past teaching experience
F. Knowledge of the local marketplace where the course will take place
G. Must be a member of the Council of Residential Specialists

When: July 19 – 23, 2010
Where: Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada – convenient to the McCarran International Airport (3.65 miles).
Registration Fee: Registration is $395.00 USD. Instructor candidates are responsible for their airfare, hotel and personal expenses.
To help keep costs low to the instructors we have included the following food functions in your registration fee:
- Breakfast, lunch and 2 breaks will be provided daily.
- A private Welcome Reception on July 18th to get acquainted with CRS Leadership and the Instructor.
- An invitation to the CRS Fun Night on July 20th which includes a Welcome Reception and networking opportunities with attendees to the Council’s annual Education and Networking event worth $30.00 USD!
A limited number of rooms have been blocked at the Paris Hotel at $69.00 USD plus 12 percent tax a night for either a single or double bed room. Space is limited.

Gail Lyons, broker/owner of Boulder Real Estate Services, Ltd., has more than 37 years of experience in real estate in Boulder, Colorado. With designations in residential and commercial real estate as well as buyer representation, Gail specialized in residential and commercial-investment properties. She is an experienced teacher who has taught throughout the U.S., Canada, Argentina, China, India, Eastern Europe, Vietnam and Taiwan. She has also written six books and numerous articles.
Gail has served as President for her local and state REALTOR® associations as well as the national Council of Residential Specialists. She is very active within NAR, having served as the 2002 Chair of the International Operations Committee. Gail served as the President’s Liaison for the India Institute of Real Estate and has been NAR Regional Coordinator for Asia-Pacific. Since 2009 she has taught the REAP course in Vietnam, Taiwan and Thailand and has completed the REAP re-write.
