Earn the CRS Designation
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation is the professional Designation offered by the Council of Residential Specialists. The CRS Designation is the highest professional designation awarded to sales agents in the residential sales field.
The following process and requirements apply to individuals residing outside the United States, its insular possessions and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
1. Become a member of the Council of Residential Specialists by joining via email or mail by completing the Membership Application, if you have not already done so.
2. Submit your application via email or mail satisfying all Designation Requirements. Council members who submit a Designation application with all required documentation will be awarded the CRS Designation within five business days. Members will be notified by email when the application has been processed.
3. Once awarded the CRS Designation, you maintain ongoing active membership in the Council of Residential Specialists in order to remain eligible to use the CRS trademark.

To be determined on a country-by-country basis after careful review of the country’s real estate market. (Equivalent to 75 transaction sides OR equivalent to $25 Million U.S.). There is one set of criteria to earn the CRS Designation. However, the Council recognizes that sales volume differs for each country. Below is a list of the specific production requirements by Country.

The CRS® Designation, awarded by the Council of Residential Specialists, is the highest professional designation awarded to REALTORS® in the residential sales field. The following requirements apply to individuals who practice outside the United States, its insular possessions and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
